A legacy of care, character & grace
Our founder, the late Ms. Josephine Motion, founded Kilimani Junior Academy in 1973. The Academy has since remained a family-managed business, with the highest attention to detail and performance.
Set on a serene 10-acre campus along Langata South Road in Hardy, Nairobi, we weave our natural surroundings into everyday learning - guiding children all the way from the Early Years through to Senior School.
We uphold the values of the Kenyan education system, delivered through the Competency Based Curriculum - always with our own unique twist.

What began as one teacher’s vision has grown into a legacy carried across three generations of one family.
For over five decades, the founding family has cared for Kilimani as though it were their own home, because it is. That continuity is our quiet strength: the same values, the same attention to every child, and the same warmth, passed down and lived out every single day.
